Our dear Sid

Recently I found my Civ IV somewhere, and started playing with it. Although it was fine and everything, the old feeling is gone, simply it just does not have the athmosphere Civ and Colonization had. Still there is one game which has a unique feel. Most of you may be surprised, but I just loved old Sid`s Alpha Centauri, and especially Alien Crossfire. Yes it`s true that the technologies are a bit lame, but the factions, and the diplomacy are so awesome, that I can forget all those stupid laser pistols.

I'm back again with a new shiny gem! At this time, there are 3 seeds for this torrent, which is just enough. Simon is a former normal boy, now goofy magician followed by his little doggy. This version is full talkie, so leechers ahead!

Hi everyone!

My previous blog was not that succesful (probably because it was in Hungarian:)), but I do not give things up that easily, so I'm back with GameShelter. I intend to save old relics using the popular filesharing method of torrents. I'll try to find the shining gems of the Internet, and if some helpful people gather here, we may help each other :) Most often I will look for CD versions, or stuff that cannot be found on abandonware sites ;)

My first victim is a torrent from awesome TorrentSpy, I hope you'll appreciate my idea to breathe life into these games...looking forward to your responses... :)
